Overview
We built an autonomous multi-agent system that orchestrates end-to-end supply chain operations — from demand forecasting to warehouse allocation to last-mile routing. The system operates 24/7, making thousands of micro-decisions per hour that collectively reduced operational costs by 31%.
The Challenge
The client operated across 14 countries with a network of 200+ warehouses. Their legacy planning system relied on static rules and weekly batch processing, leading to chronic overstocking in some regions and stockouts in others. Route optimization was done manually by regional managers using spreadsheets.
Our Approach
Architected a multi-agent system where specialized agents handle demand forecasting, inventory allocation, and route optimization independently while coordinating through a shared state layer.
Developed a real-time event processing pipeline that ingests signals from IoT sensors, weather APIs, traffic data, and market indicators to make proactive decisions before disruptions occur.
Built an observability dashboard that gives operations teams full visibility into agent reasoning, enabling them to override decisions and provide feedback that improves future performance.
